Collections Process

Contingency Fee

A contingency fee is a pricing model in which a collection agency is paid only a percentage of what it actually recovers — no recovery, no fee. Rates typically vary with the age, size, and type of the accounts placed.

What Contingency Fee means for creditors

Contingency pricing aligns the agency's incentives with the creditor's: MSB only earns when it collects, so there is no upfront cost or risk to placing accounts for recovery.

Midwest Service Bureau has recovered commercial, medical, utility, and government debt for creditors nationwide since 1970 — on a no-recovery, no-fee basis. Questions about contingency fee or a portfolio you'd like reviewed? Call (800) 362-0272.
