Collections Process

Early-Out

Early-out is a program in which an agency contacts patients or customers on the creditor's behalf early in the billing cycle, before an account becomes seriously delinquent. Early-out outreach is usually branded in the creditor's name and focuses on resolution and payment plans rather than hard collection.

What Early-Out means for creditors

Early-out captures revenue before it ages into bad debt. MSB runs branded early-out programs so creditors resolve balances sooner and place fewer accounts into full collections.

Midwest Service Bureau has recovered commercial, medical, utility, and government debt for creditors nationwide since 1970 — on a no-recovery, no-fee basis. Questions about early-out or a portfolio you'd like reviewed? Call (800) 362-0272.
